PVTIME – On 6 March 2023, YC Solar, a China-based high-tech photovoltaic product manufacturing company under Yingli Group, officially committed to expand the second phase of its PV product manufacturing base in Baoding City, China.
The project plans to achieve production capacity of 4GW of BIPV green building materials and the full range of high efficiency modules of M10 and G12 PERC/TOPCON/HJT cells with intelligent and highly automated production lines.
It is expected to reach an annual production capacity of 6GW of PV products upon completion of the projects. And the annual output value is estimated to be more than 10 billion yuan, while the profit tax is 500 million yuan. Meanwhile, about 2,000 jobs will be created for local people.
The whole project is designed to promote the city an industrial cluster covering the whole equipment manufacturing in new energy especially for PV solar industry with a total output value of more than 2 billion yuan, which will make the city steadily develop into a strong economic one with clean energy and green landscape.
