PVTIME – On 25 April 2023, Wuxi Hewang New Energy Technology Co., Ltd., a company engaged in the research and development, production and marketing of photovoltaic cells, disclosed to launch solar cell and wafer projects in Huainan City, Anhui Province of China.
The company plans to invest and construct 10GW of high-efficiency solar cell and 6GW of ingot and wafer projects, with a total investment of 5.04 billion yuan. The solar cell project, with an investment of 3.91 billion yuan, is estimated to achieve an annual revenue of 10 billion yuan once upon completion. And the ingot and wafer project, with an investment of 1.13 billion yuan, is expected to generate an annual revenue of 3 billion yuan when operational.
