PVTIME – On 17 June 2023, a signing ceremony of the PV products intelligent manufacturing base was held in Jingmen City, Hubei Province, China.
The project is jointly invested by Shanghai Gaohui Solar Technology Company and the People’s Government of Zhongxiang City to build solar power plants and production base with annual capacity of 5GW solar modules and 5GW cells, as well as supporting facilities, with an expected annual output value of 13 billion yuan and tax revenue of 300 million yuan after operation.
Shanghai Gaohui Solar was established in 2019 and signed a solar cell and module production base in Inner Mongolia, China, to produce next-generation high-efficiency crstalline silicon PV products, including 10GW of solar cells and 1GW of solar modules, with a total investment of 5 billion yuan.
