PVTIME – On 5th July 2023, a signing ceremony was held in Bozhou City, Anhui Province, China, to mark the start of construction of major renewable energy projects.
Wuxi Huadong Heavy Machinery Co.,Ltd.(HDHM) (002685.SZ), a leading company in the port machinery industry, specialising in the production of Ship-to-Shore (STS) container cranes, Rail-Mounted Gantry (RMG) container cranes and other types of cranes, attended the ceremony and announced its intention to invest in the production of n-type solar cells in Bozhou City.
The project will start in July 2023 with a total investment of 6 billion yuan to achieve an annual production capacity of 10GW of n-type high-efficiency solar cells. Trial production is expected to be available in December 2023. Once the project is fully operational, the total annual output value is expected to exceed 10 billion yuan, with an annual fiscal contribution of approximately 300 million yuan and 1,300 jobs for local people.
