PVTIME – On 14 July 2023, DaZheng (Jiangsu) Micro Nano Technology Co, Ltd, a pioneer company mainly engaged in the development and production of flexible single-junction perovskite solar cells, and the Canghai District People’s Government, Xiamen City, China, held a signing ceremony for the launch of the Light Flexible Perovskite Solar Cell Production Project in Canghai District, Xiamen City, China.
This particular project, with an investment of 300 million yuan, is the first flexible and lightweight perovskite solar cell project with a production capacity of more than 100MW. And it is expected to be expanded to the GW level for perovskite cell production, making Xiamen City the perovskite cell capital of China in the future.
Since its establishment in 2016, Dazheng’s R&D team has significantly advanced the process of flexible perovskite solar cells. The conversion efficiency of DaZheng’s flexible perovskite cell exceeded 21% in 2020 with CNAS certification. Perovskite cells are regarded as the most promising PV products for the next generation, and flexible ones are ideal for PV solutions in various scenarios. DaZheng believes that its self-developed core raw materials, nano-precision slot die coating equipment and flexible component manufacturing, and other key technologies covering the entire industry chain, will further improve the efficiency of flexible perovskite cells and provide more affordable clean energy to global customers.
