PVTIME – Guangdong Zhengye Technology Co., Ltd. (300410.SZ), a key high-tech enterprise in China under the National Torch Plan, announced that its first workshop with a production capacity of 1GW of high-efficiency photovoltaic modules, initiated by its subsidiary in Jingdezhen, is expected to be officially put into operation on 19 July 2023. And after that, the annual output value is expected to reach about 1.3 billion yuan, while more than 260 jobs will be available for local people.
The company plans to invest 5 billion yuan to set up a production base in the Jingdezhen High-tech Industry Development Zone to supply 8GW of heterojunction cells and 5GW of high-efficiency PV modules annually.
This particular production base is designed to be completed in three phases. In the first phase, approximately 1 billion yuan will be invested to achieve a production capacity of 1GW of HJT cells and 2GW of high-efficiency solar modules per year. In the second phase, 4GW of HJT cells and 3GW of modules are expected. And in the third phase, 3GW of HJT cells. The annual output value of the entire production base is estimated to be approximately 16 billion yuan once operational.
