PVTIME – On 26 March 2024, the first phase of a large scale integrated PV production base reached operation in Shangxi Province of China. The project was initiated by Jinko Solar Co., Ltd. (688223.SH), one of the world’s largest and most innovative solar module manufacturers, with a total production capacity of 56GW of PV solar products.
Jinko Sola’ s new base, which includes silicon slice, wafer, solar cell and module processing, was launched in May 2023. With an estimated total investment of 56 billion yuan, this particular facility is designed to be a super smart manufacture base with the largest scale and the highest conversion efficiency of solar products in the world.
