PVTIME – On 25 June 2024, JinkoSolar, one of the world’s largest and most innovative solar module manufacturers, has signed a cooperation framework agreement with Hunan Xinhua Hydropower Company Limited, a subsidiary of CNNC, to jointly develop distributed solar power projects with a total installed capacity of not less than 6GW in the period from 2024 to 2026.
The two sides have agreed to develop distributed solar projects with a capacity of not less than 1GW in 2024, then not less than 2GW in 2025 and 3GW in 2026, leveraging their advantages in finance, resources, technology and management.
The new partnership is expected to positively influence the future development of both parties and improve their market share in the residential PV solar power industry.
