ACWA Power and CEEC Ink Energy Agreement for Green Middle East

PVTIME – On 10 May 2023, ACWA Power, a world’s leading independent power and desalination water company has signed a strategic cooperation agreement with China Energy Engineering Corporation Limited (CEEC), or Energy China, a Chinese state-owned energy engineering conglomerate engaged in international engineering and EPC contracting, to strengthen cooperation in the global clean energy sector, following candid exchanges.

The two sides have a good basis for cooperation, and the agreement will allow further strengthening of relations with China in the region to jointly expand renewable energy activities, as ACWA Power is a well-known investor in power development in the Middle East, and CEEC has unique competitive advantages in the field of energy and power.

In addition, the partnership allows for further mutual trust, mutual benefit and win-win cooperation between the two companies. Major contributions to carbon peak and carbon neutral are expected to be achieved through an innovative cooperation model. They aim to jointly work on supply chain security and overseas project construction based on common values and interests.
