PVTIME – On September 14, Akcome and the People’s Government of Changxing County signed an investment agreement for the development of a heterojunction cell expansion project in Meishan Town of Changxing County.
The Akcome Changxing project has been steadily executed and realized in the Zheneng Smart Energy Industrial Park. It has made breakthroughs in heterojunction technology, scale, quality, and other aspects. Akcome stated that it will continue to increase investment in addition to the original 2GW plan to ensure the efficient construction and production of the project so as to realize 10GW of heterojunction cell and 6GW of high-efficiency module production capacity as soon as possible.
According to the agreement, Meishan Town will prioritize the project and increase its support for Akcome’s Changxing project in terms of land, equipment, taxation, and construction of factories and supporting facilities. After the project is completed, it will achieve an output value of 10 billion yuan.
At the signing ceremony, Akcome Chairman Zou Chenghui expressed his gratitude to the Party Committee, the Government of Changxing County, and Zheneng Industrial Park for their strong support.
