PVTIME – Zhejiang Akcome New Energy Technology Co. (Akcome, 002610.SZ), a leading provider of full lifecycle operation services for high-efficiency solar cells, modules and power plants, recently announced a temporary shutdown of solar cell and module production for a maximum of three months.
Three of Akcome’s holding subsidiaries are involved in this measure since 8 June 2024.
According to the announcement, revenues will be drastically reduced in 2024 as a result of this three-month suspension. However, in the long term, the suspension of production will help Akcome avoid further losses and promote the healthy development of its production and operations.
