PVTIME – Antai Solar, a prominent provider of photovoltaic tracking systems, has recently signed a cooperation agreement with Bahra Electric to set up a joint venture and new PV products factory in the Middle East region.
The two sides have reached an agreement to work together on the construction of an intelligent factory in the Middle East region, mainly providing solar PV products and services. Cooperation with local IPP and EPC providers is included in the plan to provide comprehensive solar energy solutions.
The new factory, which will be Antai Solar’s first overseas joint venture manufacturing base, is expected to produce 8GW of solar products in 2025, 15GW in 2026 and 24GW in 2027.
Bahra Electric, as a leading industrial group, has a factory area of approximately 500,000 square metres, which is a strong guarantee for the future development of the joint venture project. As a leading supplier of PV mounting systems, Antai provides innovative technology and quality services to enable the partners to develop complex projects. The two sides will integrate resources and expand areas of cooperation, jointly providing sustainable and valuable PV solutions in the Middle East region to promote the global zero-carbon transition and make greater contributions to the realisation of green economic growth and environmental protection.
