PVTIME – On 31 August 2023, Wuxi Autowell Technology Co., Ltd. (Autowell)(688516.SH), a well-known automation equipment manufacturer in the photovoltaic and lithium-ion battery industry, announced that Wuxi Songci Electromechanical Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Autowell that primarily involved in research, development, manufacturing, and sales of single crystal furnaces and dosing machines for the photovoltaic and semiconductor industries, has received a notice of winning the procurement of single crystal furnaces order from Trina Solar (Qinghai).
However, a formal contract with the bidder has not been signed yet, creating uncertainty for both the signing of the contract and its terms.
Additionally, on 20 August 2022, Autowell’s subsidiary was awarded a contract to supply the single crystal furnace SC-1600 to Trina Solar (Qinghai) for approximately 260 million yuan (tax included).
