PVTIME – As a follow up to its announcement concerning the cooperation framework agreement between Ningxia Jiaze Renewables Corporation Limited (hereinafter referred to as “Ningxia Jiaze”) signed on December 28, 2020, Beijing Jingneng Clean Energy Co., Limited (hereinafter referred to “BJCE”) announced that it will acquire 100% equity of Ningxia Kaiyang and Ningxia Boyang from Ningxia Jiaze.
According to the announcement, BJCE has entered into an equity transfer agreement with Ningxia Jiaze and will acquire its subsidiaries Ningxia Kaiyang and Ningxia Boyang for RMB 380.64 million and RMB 1072.4 million respectively.
Upon completion, BJCE will be transferred the ownership of the following solar and wind assets:
- 49.5MW Ningxia Hongsibao Wind Farm Jiaze Phase I
- 49.5MW Ningxia Hongsibao Wind Farm (Shuayishan, Dahe Township)
- 49.5MW Ningxia Hongsibao Wind Farm (Dahe Township Moguzi)
- 49.5MW Ningxia Hongsibao Wind Farm (Dahe Township Xiaojingzi)
- 49.5MW Ningxia Hongsibao Wind Farm Jiaze Qingshan Project
- 20MWp Ningxia Hongsibao Dahe Township Phase I Photovoltaic Power Project
- 30MWp Ningxia Hongsibao Dahe Township Phase II Photovoltaic Power Project
- 330kV Niushoushan Boost Station
BJCE Energy stated that in the company’s mid and long-term development plan, it attaches great importance to the development of clean energy, and will actively expand its clean energy business through independent development and project mergers and acquisitions.
