PVTIME – On Tuesday, the Brazilian Ministry of Mines and Energy (MME) issued two ordinances which outlined the cancellation of its previously indefinitely postponed A-4 and A-6 energy auctions while revealing the schedule for new energy auctions throughout the 2021 – 2023 triennium.
According to the ordinances, the 2021 A-3 and A-4 energy auctions will contract power from wind, solar, biomass and hydropower sources, while the A-5 and A-6 tenders will also include coal, natural gas, and solid urban waste projects.
