PVTIME – On October 20, BYD Solar Power launched its released photovoltaic solutions to enter the household photovoltaic market.
BYD’s solar solution is to install photovoltaic power generation system on the roof with module conversion efficiency of 21.7% for household use. Excessive power generated by its solar system can be stored in energy storage unit for customer use in the night, while surplus will be upload to the grid for refund. The average power generation in a household with 20kW solar system is calculated to be 25,000kwh every year, which could reduce the bills for customers dramatically.
