PVTIME – Recently, China Tungsten and Hightech Materials Co.,Ltd. (000657.SZ) disclosed that it plans to increase the production capacity of high-strength cutting tungsten wire for photovoltaic by 10 billion meters within the year of 2022.
The supply amount of tungsten wire for photovoltaic products provided by China Tungsten is not large, which is approximately 100 million meters per month. The company intends to improve its production quality and quantity by increasing its production capacity in the first place. It plans to increase the production capacity of high-strength cutting tungsten wire for photovoltaic by 10 billion meters within 9 months. The tungsten wire has many advantages as diamond wire bus bar, such as smaller diameter with loss rate of silicon wafers effectively, the lower breakage rate mainly due to the advantages of higher tensile strength, toughness, and stronger cutting ability. With the development of silicon wafers in the direction of large size and thinning, fine tungsten with above advantages is required, therefore, the company would like to promote its products to meet the demands for long term profits.
