Chinese Coal Giant Shenghua Launches New Energy Subsidiary

PVTIME – Recently, coal giant CHN ENERGY Shenghua Energy Co., Ltd. established a new energy company with a registered capital of 30 million yuan (approximately US$4.125 million).

The new company, named Guosheng (Nantong) New Energy Co., Ltd., will mainly focus on technical services for wind power and solar power generation, operation of electric vehicle charging infrastructure, leasing of photovoltaic power generation equipment and charging control equipment, etc.

The new subsidiary is an important part of Shenghua’s renewable energy business plan. As a core provider of coal power in China, Shenghua expects to respond positively to the demand for clean energy and gradually expand its new energy business.
