The move in mid-March offers logistical advantages for growth
Frankfurt/Cologne, Germany, March 2012
As a globally recognised manufacturer of innovative PV mounting systems and inverters, Clenergy has been increasingly focusing on the European market since mid-2010. As part of this growth strategy within Europe, the company recently relocated its European headquarters from Frankfurt to Cologne. This move was made in order to facilitate both the optimisation of the company’s overall logistics and its expansive human resources planning on a long-term basis.
The new office in the German city of Cologne will not only be home to Clenergy’s new European headquarters. It will also be used for the establishment and development of an effective sales team for the German market. On top of this, the new site also gives Clenergy the opportunity to additionally relocate its central European warehouse, which was previously based in Southern Germany, so that it is in close proximity to the European headquarters.
“These new facilities provide us with the optimal conditions to continue our gradual development in the fields of human resources and infrastructure in a central and easily accessible location. Furthermore, the planned consolidation of the company administration and warehouse at one site will significantly increase our logistical efficiency. The overall combination of these factors ultimately triggered our move to Cologne”, explains Clenergy’s European Sales and Marketing Director Andreas König, summarising the reasons behind the selection of Cologne as the company’s new location.
