PVTIME – In a remarkable demonstration of its commitment to the global renewable energy market, China National Complete Plant Import & Export Corporation Limited (Complant Ltd) has once again made headlines. Following the completion of a photovoltaic EPC contract in Azerbaijan, Complant Ltd announced another significant contract on 27th March.

According to the announcement, Complant Ltd signed the “Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) Contract for the 56MW Photovoltaic Project in the Yingji Special Economic Zone of the Republic of Congo” with TINDA ENERGY of the Republic of Congo at the country’s Ministry of Special Economic Zones. This contract, valued at $75.9554 million (approximately RMB 545 million), covers a comprehensive project scope. It includes a photovoltaic power plant, two 10-kilometre 33-kilovolt transmission lines, a 22.5MWh energy storage system and all necessary support facilities. This initiative not only strengthens Complant Ltd’s position in the African new energy sector, but also plays a crucial role in promoting local renewable energy development and facilitating the transformation of the energy structure in the Republic of Congo. Although the exact start date of the project remains undisclosed, its potential impact is already being eagerly anticipated.
This latest development follows an earlier announcement on 26 January 2025. Complant Ltd had announced that a consortium it had formed with INTEC ENERGY SOLUTIONS PTY LTD of Turkey had signed a contract with Shafag (Jabrayil) Solar Limited for the “Azerbaijan Sunrise EPC Photovoltaic Project”. The contract is worth approximately $119 million (approximately RMB 853 million) and has a term of 24 months. These successive contract signings firmly establish Complant Ltd as a key player in the international renewable energy market, with its footprint steadily expanding across different regions.
