PVTIME – DAS Solar, a leader in N-type PV technology, attended the ENEX in Kielce, Poland. As one of the most highly anticipated events in the Polish energy sector, the event brought together leading renewable energy companies, providing a platform for showcasing the latest technologies and innovations. DAS Solar presented its high-effciency N-type modules, DBC modules, and other products, attracting significant attention from international exhibitors and attendees, marking a new chapter for the company’s expansion into the European market.

Poland, located in Central Europe with abundant solar resources, has emerged as a key player in the renewable energy sector in recent years. Driven by technological innovation, the region witnesses a surge in both residential PV installations and large-scale commercial PV power plants. Thanks to increasing public awareness of environmental issues and government initiatives such as national plans and special subsidies, solar energy has secured a critical role in Poland’s energy landscape. By the end of 2024, Poland’s cumulative installed PV capacity has exceeded 20 GW, accounting for approximately 25% of the country’s renewable energy generation and 7% of the total energy mix, placing it among Europe’s top-tier nations.
Supported by net metering schemes and government policies, Poland’s solar market is primarily focused on residential distributed micro-grids. To cater to the growing residential market, DAS Solar leverages its advanced N-type technology to develop high-performance, aesthetically pleasing PV solutions, launching the 510W 54-cell black-framed modules and the 455W 48-cell all-black modules at the event. The DAS black series utilizes innovative coating technology and colorless coated glass to enhance light absorption and optimize overall power generation. The various customization options, such as black cells, black frames, and transparent back sheets, deliver an elegant visual experience, while the innovative design improves ease of transportation, handling, and installation, perfectly meeting the dual demands for performance and aesthetics in distributed rooftop projects.
Another highlight is DAS Solar’s new-generation 470W 54-cell DBC modules. These modules combine the high efficiency of TOPCon technology with back-contact technology, benefiting from the excellent passivated contact structure of the TOPCon cells. All electrodes are located on the back surface of the cells, eliminating the shading losses typically caused by front busbar, resulting in both aesthetic appeal and increased current. With the advantages of both TOPCon and BC technologies, the modules feature a low temperature coefficient, significantly improved power and efficiency, and are ideal for distributed projects.
As an extension of square silicon wafers, the uniform size of rectangular wafers promotes the healthy development of the industry. In that context, DAS Solar showcased its N-type bifacial, dual-glass modules using rectangular cells. By virtue of the optimal size design, they offer several advantages in efficiency, power, manufacturing, processing, and transportation. Equipped with the industry-leading TOPCon 4.0 Plus cell technology, the modules have a power output of 625W and an efficiency of up to 23.1%. They can provide superior performance with high efficiency, high power, high bifaciality, low degradation, and high reliability, effectively reducing BOS costs and LCOE, ensuring long-term and efficient power generation.
During the event, DAS Solar also signed an agreement with PVE Construction for the 54 MW project in Września, Poland. The project is expected to be grid-connected in Q4 this year, significantly boosting the local renewable energy share and injecting new momentum into the country’s green energy transition.
As one of the regions with the highest demand for solar power, Europe has always been a key focus of DAS Solar’s global expansion strategy, and Poland is the first stop in the company’s European market deployment for 2025. The event further strengthens DAS Solar’s close connections with global customers and partners. Looking ahead, DAS Solar will continue to pursue an innovation-driven development, providing more efficient and reliable solar solutions to meet the evolving global demands, contributing to the mutual goal of carbon neutrality.
