PVTIME – On September 21, EGing Photovoltaic Technology Co., Ltd. (600537.SH), a high-tech enterprise specialized in the development, manufacture and marketing of solar photovoltaic products, disclosed that it plans to invest in photovoltaic production projects with annual output of 10GW solar cells, 10GW PV slices and 10GW modules in Quanjiao County, Anhui Province of China.
The first phase of the projects is scheduled to start in October 2022, complete in April 2023, and put into production within 3 months after completion, focusing on 10GW of high-efficiency n-type TOPCon cells, with an investment of approximately 5 billion yuan.
The start-up time and actual investment of the second phase will be determined via negotiation based on the follow-up progress, with an estimated investment of approximately 5.3 billion yuan.
These projects are expected to provide high-efficiency and high-quality products to meet the market demands as well as reducing its production costs.
