Oct. 9th, 2012, BYD, a market leader in battery storage industry, announced a partnership with EUROSOL, one of the top distributors in Europe. EUROSOL will distribute BYD storage systems DESS and EPS, which allowing independence from rising electricity prices and self-generated solar power could be used around the clock.
At the ceremony, Alex Lu (Head of Energy Storage Systems of BYD) and Andreas Fürst (CEO of EUROSOL GmbH) signed a distribution agreement for the BYD battery systems. Andreas Fürst said “In addition to the network expansion, storage is an important prerequisite for the realization of energy transition. It can adjust the fluctuating production of solar power upon demand. So households can save money.”
BYD is a company which take “quality, technology, responsibility” as its basic conception. Relying on BYD’s unique and core Fe battery technology, it always takes its place at the forefront of new energy application area. With the systems of BYD, solar power can be economically stored and used. This will lead to cost saving, since less power would be purchased from regional suppliers, and also a reduction of the power grid. Even during a power failure, the system ensures a stable power supply.
