PVTIME – On 11 March 2024, a grand opening ceremony was held for a PV inverter production base initiated by GoodWe, the global leader in solar inverters and energy storage solutions, which is now operational in the city of Hai Phong in Vietnam.
As an important part of GoodWe’s globalisation strategy, the new facility is the company’s first production base in Southeast Asia and the first outside of China. This super smart factory is expected to dramatically expand GoodWe’s production capacity together with its other two manufacturing bases in Jiangsu and Anhui provinces of China.
The Vietnamese factory is mainly produce GoodWe’s core products, such as energy storage inverters and grid-connected inverters, with a capacity of 180,000 units per year after full production. It adopts GoodWe’s inverter manufacturing experience of more than ten years, upgrades the advanced technology used in China, and integrates a series of intelligent processing and management systems to provide customers with high-quality and reliable inverter products.
In addition, the annual shipment volume of GoodWe’s inverters has ranked among the world’s top 10 for consecutive years, and that of home energy storage inverters has also ranked first in the world for many years.
