With festive firecrackers, Anyang High &New-Tech Industry Development Zone Administration Committee and Phoenix New Energy Co. ,LTD held a groundbreaking ceremony for Phoenix’s new manufacturing facility in Anyang High &New-Tech Industry Development Zone. Zhang Guangzhi, Secretary Municipal Committee of the CPC, Zhang Xiaodong, Deputy Secretary Municipal Committee of the CPC(Mayor of Anyang City) and other top leaders were in attendance.
Zhong Ping, Anyang High &New-Tech Zone Director, signed investment agreement with Sun Zhian, the Chairman of Anyang Phoenix Photovoltaic Co., Ltd.
Anyang Phoenix New Energy Co., Ltd is funded by Anyang Phoenix Photovoltaic Co., Ltd. The organization is committed to providing high performance, high quality photovoltaic products and services for global customers. With the support of a strong parent company, Phoenix New Energy utilizes its R & D capabilities to produce high-performance quasi-monocrystalline silicon, cells and modules. The manufacturing facility is the result of a total investment of 40 billion RMB, and boasts an annual output of 1,000MW, 500MW of which is the quasi-mono crystalline silicon solar cell and module production line. By the end of 2011 the factory infrastructure is expected to completed, and by 2013, is expected to achieve sales of $ 6.3 billion. Phoenix will achieve industry leadership status from silicon to end-product applications, and through full vertical integration of the industrial chain, will become a worldwide leader in the industry.
Zhang Xiaodong, Anyang City Mayor stressed in his speech that Anyang’s municipal government attaches great importance to Phoenix’s photovoltaic project, which is crucial in the city’s construction and development. The High &New-Tech Industry Development Zone is a center for enterprises with innovative ideas, and provides a favorable investment environment to promote the development of the photovoltaic industry in Anyang City’s center. The municipal Project Construction Unit will work to enhance safety awareness and reasonable arrangements for the construction period; municipal authorities are committed to cooperating closely to support the project and promote timely realization of full production.
