PVTIME – On 2 September 2024, the first 0BB-TOPCon module rolled off a 3GW solar module factory initiated by Haitai Solar, a leading provider of new energy solutions and solar modules.
According to Haitai, this 182 n-type bifacial mono-crystalline silicon module was produced at its Houhu base in Hunan Province, China. The manufacturing base integrates artificial intelligence detection and intelligent management system to precisely control the efficiency and accuracy of products from raw materials to modules. And the modules with enhanced performance and yield rate will be perfectly suitable for diversified application scenarios, such as large-scale ground-mounted power plants, industrial, commercial and residential rooftops, etc.
In addition, Haitai Solar’s successful launch of the 0BB module is a new step in promoting the transformation of the global energy system towards low-carbon and environmental protection with practical measures.
