PVTIME – From February 19th to 21st, the PV EXPO 2025 was grandly held at the Tokyo Big Sight. As one of Asia’s most influential renewable energy exhibitions, PV EXPO gathered top-tier global photovoltaic technologies and innovative achievements, emerging as a crucial platform for driving energy transformation. Hanersun showcased a range of high-efficiency modules and its HNESS energy storage system for C&I use, captivating the attention of numerous industry experts and clients with its leading technological prowess and localized service advantages.

Japan, a pioneer in the global photovoltaic industry, has seen Hanersun deeply integrate into its market since the company established its Tokyo branch in 2017. With high-quality products and rapid response services, Hanersun’s HITOUCH series modules have gained widespread recognition in the Kanto and Kansai regions. At this year’s expo, Hanersun not only displayed its flagship products, the HITOUCH 6H 730W high-efficiency heterojunction module and the HITOUCH 6N 630W cost-effective rectangular module, but also introduced two new product series, the Zephyr and Airy Series, tailored to meet the growing demand for distributed rooftop projects in Japan.
HITOUCH Zephyr Series Module
The Zephyr Series lightweight modules are meticulously designed by Hanersun for Japan’s residential market. These modules feature a novel composite frame and just 1.6mm tempered glass, reducing their weight by 35% compared to traditional modules. This makes installation simpler and is ideal for retrofitting existing rooftops. The Zephyr Series also offers customizable colors that seamlessly blend with various architectural styles, meeting the diverse aesthetic needs of Japanese households.
HITOUCH Airy Series Module
The Airy Series is Hanersun’s first flexible module series. These modules are approximately 70% lighter than traditional ones. Thanks to advanced packaging technology, they are flexible and can bend to fit building surfaces, enhancing space utilization. The Airy Series’ bracket-free installation design expands its application scenarios, especially in projects with curved rooftops and other special architectural structures. It provides creative inspiration for Japan’s commercial and industrial building designs, helping to create distinctive green energy architectural spaces.
Also on display was the HNESS230-L energy storage system for C&I use. Equipped with high-energy-density lithium iron phosphate batteries, this system supports modular expansion and has a cycle life of over 6000 times. It is well-suited to Japan’s high electricity prices and time-of-use pricing policies, offering users a stable and efficient energy storage solution that further enhances energy utilization efficiency.
Leveraging the localized advantages of its Tokyo branch, Hanersun will keep delivering high-efficiency, reliable photovoltaic and energy storage solutions tailored for Japan. Committed to innovation, Hanersun aims to accelerate Japan’s energy transformation and support its journey to carbon neutrality, partnering with customers to build a greener future.
