PVTIME – Chinese Solar company Hanersun announced the renewal of its strategic partnership with Munich Re, one of the world’s leading reinsurers, and Willis, one of the world’s largest insurance brokers.
The agreement, signed by Deming Liu, Manager Assistant of Hanersun, Sinney Leung, Director of PV Business Development from Munich Re and Eileen Yang, Head of PV Bussiness, marks a milestone moment in deepening co-operation between the three parties. extends Munich Re’s reinsurance services to Hanersun’s full range of solar products for 2024.
According to the agreement, Munich Re will back Hanersun’s 15-year quality and 30-year power warranties for its solar modules (applicable to all photovoltaic module products, including facial and bifacial), mainly covers the losses caused by technical risks.
On behalf of Munich Re,Sinney Leung expressed confidence in Hanersun’s quality commitment after a thorough review of its production processes, aiming to boost customer trust in PV product longevity and reliability.
