PVTIME – This October, Hanersun’s Hitouch 5N and 6N series modules have successfully passed the new certification standards set by the Australian Clean Energy Council (CEC) , securing a spot on the CEC-approved product list. This certification provides strong support for Hanersun’s continuing growth in the Australian market.
As of October 1, 2024, the CEC mandates that all modules on the approved product list must comply with the more stringent IEC61215:2021 and IEC61730:2023 tests established by the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC). These new regulations encompass critical aspects such as electrical design and outdoor durability, ensuring the reliability of modules under diverse conditions.
The HITOUCH 5N and 6N series modules apply advanced N-type cell technology, multi-busbar design, and high-density encapsulation. It enhances both cost-effectiveness and energy efficiency, to meet the Australian market’s demand for superior quality and performance, thereby promoting further growth in the solar sector.
Australia has long been a thriving hub for the solar industry. By the end of 2023, the country’s solar installation reached 34.7GW, with annual PV additions surpassing 5GW. By setting up its Melbourne branch, Hanersun is committed to driving technological innovation to satisfy the increasing demand for high-efficiency solar products in Australia and worldwide, contributing to the advancement of green energy globally.
