Technology Leader Exhibits New Higher-Efficiency Front-side Silver Pastes and Highlights New Facility in Taiwan, Strengthening Its Commitment to the Future of Photovoltaics
WEST CONSHOHOCKEN, Pa., Sept. 13, 2012 The Heraeus Photovoltaics Business Unit will be exhibiting at this year’s 27th annual European Photovoltaic Solar Energy Conference and Exhibition (PVSEC) from September 25-28 in Frankfurt, Germany. Heraeus will feature some of its newest products, including SOL9600, and discussing the company’s global expansion and new Taiwan facility in Hall 3.0, Booth G16.
Heraeus will debut its newest line of front-side metallization pastes for conventional c-Si solar cells, the SOL9600 Series, which has demonstrated significantly improved contact quality on regular and high sheet emitter wafers. The SOL9600 Series is a significant improvement over Heraeus’ previous industry leading SOL9235 and SOL9411 pastes for applications requiring higher efficiency and finer line resolution printing. As with all Heraeus metallization pastes, the SOL9600 Series offers a wider processing window during firing, which provides a tighter production output distribution and improves yields.
Heraeus will also highlight its newest manufacturing site in Taiwan, which will allow the company to offer faster service for the Taiwanese market. The opening of the Taiwan facility establishes Heraeus’ dedication to the region and the PV industry with plans for continued growth. With new or expanded facilities and additional personnel in key photovoltaic markets across the globe, the company is now able to even better serve its customers.
