PVTIME – Zhuhai Hongjun New Energy Co., Ltd. (HJS), an HJT solar cell production subsidiary of Zhuhai Gree Group Co., Ltd., a primary manufacturer of home appliances, recently signed a cooperation agreement with Kunshan GCL Photoelectric Materials Co. (GCL Perovskite), a subsidiary of GCL Tech, which is currently the only technology company in the world to develop and produce commercial modules with a uniformly high single-junction photoelectric conversion efficiency of more than 18.00%.
The two sides have agreed to cooperate in the research and development of perovskite tandem solar modules, brand promotion, technology innovation and related fields.
According to the agreement, the research and production of high-efficiency HJT perovskite tandem modules with conversion efficiency of more than 27% will be carried out. Mass production, technology upgrading and global marketing are also planned.
