PVTIME – On 7 March 2023, Hongrun Construction Group Co.,Ltd. (002062), a China-based company principally engaged in the construction business and municipal infrastructure investment business,has signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement with the People’s Government of Xuanzhou District, Anhui Province of China, under which the two parties intend to carry out comprehensive cooperation in the renewable energy industry, with the PV projects including but not limited to 10GW of high-efficiency solar module project, 10GW of solar cell project, and 900MW of centralised solar power plants in Xuanzhou District.
Hongrun Construction Group will invest and construct these projects, while the local government will provide related support. The whole projects will be implemented in phases, and the investment and construction will be subject to the approval procedures of each project by the local government.
