PVTIME – On August 31, 2022, the Ministry of Commerce and Industry of India released an announcement that it has received an extension document issued by Indian Ministry of Finance on August 30, 2022, to delay the final ruling on Solar Cells whether or not assembled into modules or panels originated in or imported from China, Thailand and Vietnam, to October 31, 2022.
On May 15, 2021, the Indian Ministry of Commerce and Industry issued an announcement stating that in response to an application submitted by the Indian Solar Manufacturers Association (ISMA) on behalf of Indian companies Mundra Solar PV Limited, Jupiter Solar Power Limited and Jupiter International Limited, an Anti-dumping investigation was initiated on photovoltaic cells and modules that originally produced in or imported from China, Thailand and Vietnam.The same department announced two days later to postpone the final ruling until August 31, 2022. Then on August 25, it applied to the Ministry of Finance for an extension to issue the final ruling of the case.
