PVTIME – On June 7, a groundbreaking ceremony was held in Yiwu City for the 10GW solar module materials project that initiated by Wuxi JA, a subsidiary of JA Solar.
This particular project was cooperated by Wuxi JA and the local government of the economic development zone for the supporting materials of PV products with an estimated annual output of 10GW, and with an investment of CNY 1 billion.
It is scheduled to be put into production by the end of December 2022, and reach the production goal in July 2023, with an estimated annual sales revenue of approximately CNY 3 billion and 75 million of tax payment every year.
JA Solar would like to build a R&D and production base for PV auxiliary material to meet relevant materials demand for its solar cell and module production. Meanwhile, the two sides will jointly set a PV industrial base which the whole products required for solar power systems would be involved.
