JA Solar Holdings Co., Ltd. (Nasdaq:JASO) (“JA Solar” or the “Company”), one of the world’s largest manufacturers of high-performance solar cells and solar power products, today announced the unveiling of its latest solar cell series, CYPRESS, at Intersolar Europe in Munich, Germany, along with its latest solar modules.
The JA Solar R&D team has designed CYPRESS technology to enhance product quality and help meet the needs of its diverse customer base. Extensive in-house testing has shown that this new series of cells offer excellent conversion rates and better product stability when compared with previous series. Full scale production is scheduled to begin in June 2012.
JA Solar will also be giving customers their first glimpse of its new modules: sandwich modules, frameless modules and blue light EVA modules. These all-new, high-performance modules are adapted to a wide range of onsite applications. They offer superior energy conversion and help reduce the cost of electricity generation.
