PVTIME – JinkoSolar signed a 5-billion-yuan cooperative agreement with the Yuhuan Municipal Party Committee at the Yuhuan-Shanghai Investment Promotion Conference and Signing Ceremony for Major Projects in Shanghai on the afternoon of July 4.
Per the agreement, JinkoSolar will construct a photovoltaic cell production base in the developing city of Yuhuan. Specifics regrading the scale and construction schedule of the project have not yet been released.
The 5 billion cell production project is among 15 other projects with a total investment of 36.1 billion yuan involving urban renewal, manufacturing, culture and tourism, and other fields signed at the ceremony.
