PVTIME – LONGi Group has announced the company’s plans to invest 7.011 billion yuan in the construction of three capacity expansion projects totaling 25GW in annual production capacity.
To meet the market demand for high-efficiency monocrystalline products, a monocrystalline module project with annual production capacity of 5GW is to be constructed in Jiaxing City. Estimated investment total of this project is 1.948 billion yuan.
A 1.837 billion yuan 10GW monocrystalline ingot production project will also be constructed in Baoshan City of Yunnan Province.
A two phase monocrystalline cell production project is to be established in Xi’an National Civil Aerospace Industry Base. Phase I will produce 7.5GW annually and Phase II will add another 2.5GW annually. This project also includes a 680MW integrated mono cell and module pilot line.
