PVTIME – On October 30, LONGi’s 7GW Jiaxing photovoltaic module production project was officially put into operation. Gong Heyan, Director of the Organization Department of the Standing Committee of the Jiaxing Municipal Committee; Zhao Jianming, Deputy Director of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress; Dai Ming, Vice Chairman of the CPPCC; Wu Yan, Liu Dewei, Secretary of the Xiuzhou District Party Committee and Secretary of the Party Working Committee of Xiuzhou High-tech Zone, Deputy Secretary of the District Committee, District Head, and Manager of Xiuzhou High-tech Zone Committee Director; Li Zhenguo, LONGi President; Li Wenxue, Vice President Senior; Chen Hong, Vice President of the Module Business Unit, and leaders of relevant government departments and associations attended the commissioning ceremony.

“The Jiaxing LONGi project utilizes advanced technology and the market is huge for LONGi products. The realization of LONGi’s construction plan to ‘start, complete, and commission within the same year’ fully demonstrates the strength of LONGi and the speed of Xiuzhou,” said Gong Heyan, Director of the Organization Department of the Standing Committee of the Jiaxing Municipal Committee. “With the successful completion and commission of the Jiaxing project, I hope LONGi will make persistent efforts, take advantage of the momentum, and accelerate the creation of a new benchmark for new energy companies,” Gong added.

Liu Dewei, Secretary of the Xiuzhou District Party Committee and Secretary of the Party Working Committee of Xiuzhou High-tech Zone, said in his speech, “LONGi’s 7GW Jiaxing photovoltaic module project is the first project with more than 10 billion yuan invested in Xiuzhou District.
