PVTIME – On April 14, CECEP Solar Energy Co.,Ltd. (000591.SZ), a holding subsidiary of China Energy Conservation and Environmental Protection Group, released its annual repoert in 2021. The company achieved operating income of 7.016 billion yuan in 2021, a year-on-year increase of 32.25%. Net profit attributable to shareholders of listed companies was 1.181 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 14.87%. And the basic earnings per share was 0.39 yuan.
CECEP Solar Energy mainly engages in the investment and operation of solar photovoltaic power plants, and the production and sales of solar cell modules. The sales revenue for solar power stations was 4.449 billion yuan in the duration of 2021, accounting for 63.42% of the company’s total revenue, a year-on-year increase of 9.69%, and its solar products sales revenue was 2.549 billion yuan, accounting for 36.33% of its total revenue, a year-on-year increase of 107.76%.
Moreover, by the end of 2021, solar plants with power generation capacity of 4.27GW were under operation by the company, while 0.7GW of solar power stations were under construction and 1.12GW more was on the waiting list. Thus a total of 6.09GW PV plants were invested, construted and operated by the company, according to the announcement. The average price of electricity sales including tax was 0.85 yuan/kWh in 2021, and the company sold 5.922 billion kWh of electricity in 2021, a year-on-year increase of 630 million kWh (11.89%).
Furthermore, on the same day, CECEP Solar Energy released an announcement on the investment of solar energy projects with an estimated total investment of 1.18 billion yuan. A 100MW forest-solar power plant with a total investment of 436.3 million yuan and a 200MW agricultural photovoltaic power station with a total investment of 745.5 million yuan are planned to be launched by subsidiaries of CECEP Solar Energy respectively.
