PVTIME – Recently, Sungrow, the global leading inverter solution supplier for renewables, successfully held “Sungrow Power Day 2021”, a circuit roadshow in Karachi and Lahore, Pakistan, on December 1st and December 7th 2021 respectively, which attracted altogether more than 500 attendees, including government high officials, leading Pakistan and international companies’ experts and customers. During these events, Sungrow demonstrated its industry-leading technologies and solutions, and signed new PV inverter contracts with key partners.
The two events in Karachi and Lahore of “Sungrow Power Day, 2021” proved successful and received praise from distinguished guests. The Karachi roadshow attracted Abu Bakar Ahmed, Secretary of Energy Department Government of Sindh, Irfan Ahemd, Director of HESCO and Saleem Sheikh, CEO of STDC. During the Lahore event, Sungrow was very honored to have Mian Mahmood-ur-Rasheed, Provincial Minister for Housing, Urban Development and Public Engineering, Ambreen Sajjad, Provincial Director General of Environment Protection Agency, Amjad Ali Awan, Chief Executive of Public-Private Partnership Unit to address this meeting. They shared the consensus that developing the renewable energy sector is crucial for this country’s sustainable development, and reiterated the commitment to making Pakistan green through converting 60% of power consumption to solar power by 2030. Worth mentioning, the Minister added “The government must ensure the ease of doing business in renewable energy sector”, contributing to more confidence to Sungrow’s further penetration in this market.
Sungrow, by this occasion, expressed sincere gratitude to support from the Pakistan government and partners, even distributing awards for some of The Company’s valued partners. In addition, Sungrow introduced the newest Residential, C&I and BESS products, presented the comprehensive system design solutions and after-sales services, and shared its successful projects in this country. Moreover, Sungrow also achieved strategic cooperation with OES, a prolific contributor and initiator in promoting green energy in Pakistan. They signed 25MW inverter supply contract. The partnership will enhance Sungrow’s long-term and profound development in local renewable energy market and promote this country’s sustainable development.
