PVTIME – On February 6, Power Construction Corporation of China, Ltd (POWERCHINA Ltd)(601669.SH) sighed an EPC general contract with Argentina Company for the Arauco 199MW solar power project in Argentina.
Two phases are included in the Arauco 199MW solar power project, and both of them are located in the Arauco region of La Rioja Provence, western Argentina. The projects contracting scope includes the design, construction, supply of solar modules and electrical equipment, installation, project trial operation and commercial operation test of a total of 199MW PV power plant.
POWERCHINA has been deeply involved in the development of Argentina’s energy and infrastructure industries since it entering the Argentine market. This project will further boost Argentina’s energy transition and sustainable development, as well as fulfilling the dual carbon goals globally.
