With the emerging of the anti-dumping and anti-subsidy policies in U.S and tightening PV incentives in Europe, It is a trend for downstream Solar manufacturers to seek for good market match-ups to guarantee their position in supply chain. As a most innovative and aggressive supplier in great China region, Powerway signed agreement with Scheuten Solar, the most famous BIPV and PV module manufacturers and EPC in Europe.
In this agreement, Powerway shall integrate their R&D and optimized supply chain management with scheuten’s brand image, sales pipeline and EPC experience, to control the whole industrial chain. For Scheuten Solar, Powerway will push their module sales in U.S, South Africa,Japan, Eastern South Asia via their channels. These 2 companies is perfect matched and total complementary.
It is the most difficult time for Scheuten Solar in 2011 with the background of fierce competition and feeding tariff declining, while in 2012, with the support from Powerway, Scheuten Solar’s module sales amount is estimated to reach 200MW which will announce the Scheuten’s return as a Top brand in European PV market. The entity will develop free field and rooftop projects in Europe with aiming. It would be regarded as a counter integration from Bottom to Top stream.
