PVTIME – On March 12, Shuangliang Eco-Energy Systems Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Shuangliang Eco-Energy or the Company)(600481.SH) announced that Jiangsu Shuangliang Eco-Energy Investment Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of the company intends to invest in high-efficiency photovoltaic module projects in Baotou City, Inner Mongolia, China.
According to the announcement, the new projects will engage in high-efficiency solar modules, and are expected to reach an annual output of 20GW which are planned to be implemented in several phrases. The company will set up a subsidiary tentatively named as Shuangliang New Energy Technology ( Baotou) Co., Ltd. as the main operator of the new projects, with a total investment of 600 million yuan. The details might be adjusted due to progress situation.
The new subsidiary currently focuses on research and development, production, installation, sales, technical consultation, maintenance of solar photovoltaic cell and modules while design, construction, operation and maintenance management, and engineering services of photovoltaic power plants with qualification certificates.
