PVTIME – Jiangsu Runyang Yueda Photovoltaic Technology Co (Runergy), a Chinese solar cell manufacturer, announced on 28 January that its 13GW n-type high-efficiency solar cell production project was officially launched that day.
Located in Yujing City, Yunnan Province, the project is expected to be completed in July 2023 and, once operational, will reach an annual output value of 14 billion, generate an annual tax payment of 490 million yuan and create more than 1,200 jobs.
This fully intelligent manufacturing base of Runergy is one of the key steps to promote the whole industrial supply chain layout in the city to meet the demands of the future market.
