PVTIME – Recently, Sineng Electric, a prominent supplier of PV and energy storage inverters, along with FiberX, a distributor in the Brazilian information and communication technology sector, have signed an agreement to supply 250kW string inverters for the 90MW solar power plant in Brazil, which is being developed by CEMIG, a major power company in the country.
As per the agreement, Sineng Electric shall supply string inverters to FiberX, and both parties shall work together on photovoltaic schemes for residential, commercial, and industrial purposes, including major solar power plants in support of Brazil’s renewable energy initiatives.
This solar project covers an area of 106 hectares and has great significance in ablating power to the residents in Brazil. It is expected to generate 150,000 MWh of clean electricity per annum and satisfy the electricity needs of around 50,000 households. Moreover, it will reduce carbon dioxide emissions by approximately 39,000 tonnes per year.
Sineng Electric will guarantee efficient products delivery, ensuring safe operation, high-quality service, and maintenance. It aims to promote renewable energy applications in South America and contribute to the global net carbon goal.
