PVTIME – In a significant development during the SolarSolutionsAmsterdam exhibition in the Netherlands, Tongwei, a major player in the solar energy sector, has signed a supply agreement for high efficiency PV modules with Generation Green, a prominent renewable energy company in the region.

This cooperation underlines Generation Green’s firm belief in Tongwei’s industry leadership, the reliability of its products and the strength of its supply chain. Generation Green has selected Tongwei’s TNC – G12 66HD modules to improve the efficiency and sustainability of its ground-mounted solar projects.
The first batch of these modules is scheduled for delivery in May 2025. Once fully operational, the project is expected to achieve a remarkable annual reduction of 28,700 tonnes of CO₂ emissions. This is equivalent to the environmental benefit of planting 157 hectares of forest.
This initiative not only represents a significant step forward in the green energy transition in the Netherlands, but also sets a positive example for other regions looking to accelerate their transition to a more sustainable energy future. The partnership between Tongwei and Generation Green is expected to have a far-reaching impact, driving the adoption of clean energy solutions and contributing to global efforts to combat climate change.
