PVTIME – On 13 November 2023, Tongwei unveiled its latest n-type TNC module G12R series products at the 6th China International PV Industry Conference in Chengdu City, China.
With greater performance, reduced BOS cost, and lower LCOE, the G12R series will provide more value and product options to the thriving PV market. Tongwei’s TNC high-efficiency cell technology has been adopted in the new range resulting in mass production efficiency surpassing 26.1%. The high-efficiency panels feature superimposed super-multiple main grid design, non-destructive scribing technology, and high-density encapsulation technology, all of which minimize the risk of hidden cracks. Meanwhile, transportation costs are lowered by optimizing box utilization through enhanced design of conventional 182 items with superior quality, performance, and more competitive pricing.
In addition, Tongwei has officially launched WeSolar, their global partner programme. This digital platform facilitates the efficient exchange of sales resources and cooperation information, supported by a robust digital network. It will serve as a reliable community for PV partners. Tongwei also offers customised co-operation solutions to global partners, enabling them to expand their market outreach via the platform.
Furthermore, Tongwei has four major module production bases in Hefei City, Yancheng City, Jintang City and Nantong City, China, while the planned module base in Shuangliu District of Sichuan Province is expected to be put into operation in 2025, increasing the overall module production capacity to an astounding 100GW. With a substantial production capacity, dependable products, and effective marketing channels, Tongwei seeks to collaborate with partners to advance the solar power industry’s growth, imparting high-quality products to international customers and satisfying the dual-carbon goals.
