PVTIME – On January 17, 2022, Tongwei Solar (Chengdu) Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Tongwei Solar), a subsidiary of Tongwei Group, has signed a Purchase Framework Agreement with Shuangliang Silicon Materials (Baotou) Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as ”Shuangliang Silicon Materials”), a subsidiary of Shuangliang Eco-Energy Co., Ltd., for silicon wafers.
According to the Agreement, Tongwei Solar expects to purchase a total of 1.048 billion monocrystalline silicon wafers from Shuangliang Silicon Materials from January 2022 to December 2024. With reference to the latest data from PV InfoLink (January 12, 2022) for the average prices of monocrystalline silicon wafers (210mm/160μm) and monocrystalline silicon wafers (182mm/165μm), this total sales amount is estimated to be 6.305 billion yuan in 2022-2024 ( tax included).
